CV Surgery - Do I go under?

The famous English bard once said "to be or not to be".  Well in recruitment you want "to be".   Your CV needs to evidence you "to be" the best fit for the role you are applying for, and for that reason we endorse targeted resumes.  The one size fits all approach does not cut the mustard.  At RP we consult with candidates when we think the CV needs some fine tuning.  Certain points may need strengthening and in some cases titles may need to be made more relevant to the internal workings of the target client.  Never lay claim to anything other than the facts though.  Just look at what happened to the CEO of Yahoo Scott Thompson recently who resigned over a false reference to a degree in his resume.
